HOW LONG HAS AWM BEEN ESTABLISHED?
AWM – Anne Will Management is a new division of Team Agencies Pty Ltd.  Development began in July 2010.  While the division maybe new, the Company and its Director certainly are not.  Anne has been working in the Entertainment Industry for many years, she established Team Agencies in 1985 (28 years).  Anne built the Company herself and since its establishment Team Agencies has rightfully earned its reputation as a leader in the competitive Australian market.  Team represents both children and adults. WHY WAS AWM ESTABLISHED?
We believe there is a gap in the market, particularly in Victoria, for an exclusive acting Agent willing to give new and emerging talent with potential an opportunity. There are some terrific young actors/presenters coming through the ranks and there are limited choices available to them.  AWM will only represent actors/presenters with the ability to perform lead and feature roles and who are dedicated to furthering their careers both here and overseas.   Naturally, we will also consider  Actors/Presenters who are already established and looking for an Agent with enthusiasm and fresh ideas. Team Agencies, will continue to look after models, children and adult talent.

WHAT DOES AWM DO?
AWM represents actors/presenters in the field of Film, Television, Theatre, Voice Over, Television Commercials and Public Appearances.

AWM will remain small and exclusive, only representing actors and presenters with the potential to perform Lead, Supporting and Featured roles.  AWM does not represent extras or take on extra’s work.

  • We market our actors/presenters to our clients and the Industry on a regular basis.
  • We negotiate contracts, terms and working conditions
  • We keep up to date with developments within the industry
  • We offer our actors support and career guidance

WHAT COMMISSION DOES AWM TAKE?
11% (GST inclusive) on all Film, TV Drama and Theatre work
16.5% (GST inclusive) on all Presenting work
22% (GST inclusive) on all T.V.C’s, Print and Modelling

WHAT AGE BRACKET DO YOU REPRESENT?
AWM primarily represents adults; however, if we meet a teenager with exceptional talent AWM will seriously consider representing them.  All children should apply to our other division, Team Agencies.

HOW MANY ACTORS DOES AWM REPRESENT?
AWM is a fairly new Agency; we currently have 21 actors/presenters on board.   We intend to grow slowly, ultimately representing no more than 30-40 actors/presenters.

WHAT FEES DO YOU CHARGE?
AWM does not charge a fee to join.  However, there are fees related to establishing Actors in the industry.  There are two industry websites that all our actors/presenters must join and they both carry annual fees.  Also to be considered is the cost of photos, a show reel and voice demo.  This will be discussed at length if you are offered representation.

WHAT EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING IS REQUIRED?
We expect all applicants to have extensive training in Drama/ Acting or undergraduate degrees in the Performing Arts.

WHAT ARE THE RATES OF PAY FOR ACTORS?
Fees vary greatly depending on the job and the role.  Please visit the MEAA www.alliance.org.au  for a list of Performers’ award rates that apply.
All TVC’s and Print work is negotiated on an individual basis and varies considerably depending on the variables.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?
Yes, we have an Agreement in place that protects both Actor and Agent.  As part of that Agreement every Actor is obliged to maintain a current subscription with Industry websites/databases.  This will be discussed in detail at your interview.
